6th June 2020 will be a whole new experience for me. I have decided to take part in the jump of their lives for Macmillan Cancer Support. Scared.... Yes.... Excited.... Yes.... Determined.... Hell Yes!!!
Working for Macmillan I see everyday what amazing things they do, but currently they are only able to reach 1 in 4 people... and that is just not good enough.
Having a personal family experience of how cancer can throw your life into disarray, I wanted to help Macmillan and their vision to reach everyone. My jumping challenge is nothing compared to some of the challenges that people face daily with a cancer diagnosis and if me raising a little bit of money can ease some of those struggles... then Bring on the JUMP!!!
The jump is part of the 50th Anniversary celebration at York Race Day on 12th & 13th June. The weekend is hoping to raise 1 million pounds. All of which will stay local and support people in Yorkshire.
Any little amount you can donate, would be so appreciated. I am sure there are plenty of people that would love to shove me out of this plane, but as you can't do that, donate instead. Thank you!
Anything is possible if you just have the nerve!
Love and hugs
Adele
