The aim of Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK is to overcome the challenges of Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) through advancing research. High-quality research leads to more effective treatments and a better quality of life. FPWR UK was founded in 2010 by parents of children with PWS.

Story

Play a game of 5-a-side, and usually you're rather tired come the end of it. Well on the 25th June a group of 16 of us wont just be playing for the regular hour. We're going to be playing for 24 continual hours!!

All this is in aid of Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) - http://www.fpwr.co.uk/

Prader-Willi Syndrome occurs in approximately 1 in 15,000 children. Early symptons are slow muscle development and vairous other symptons which occur during childhood and adolescence. At some point, usually between the ages of 1 and 6, the child will develop insatiable hunger.

Being a reasonably unheard of condition means that it does not receive as much attention and funding as other childhood conditions or illnesses and this is what FPWR want to change.

So we would really appreciate it if you could spare some of your hard earned pocket money in order for us to raise our target and help raise money for a rare condition that currently has no cure. For further information on Prader-Willi syndrome please see the link to the website.
