There are number of reasons i have chosen to take on this challenge:

1. To raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care which does a fantastic job of caring for those suffering from cancer and their families

2. For my family that has been affected by cancer

3. For the courageous individuals and their families known to me who did not dererve to suffer from cancer

4. As a personal challenge for me to focus my energy and achieve one of my life ambitions

5. To represent Marie Curie, whom I have volunteered with since 2005 and see the hard work many volunteers put in to provide a service for those in need

I am sure many of you have had similar experiences and thoughts as me and therefore see how important it is that we have charities to help others. I know this challenge will make a difference but I need your help. I will be doing all i can to raise enough funds for Marie Curie and will be trainig hard to complete the marathon (and hopefully complete it quickly).
