Story

On 9th June, my cousin Jonny and his wife Kim's little boy Cameron Adam Graham died inexplicably, aged 4 months. I don't have the words to describe how heart-breaking this is. A child dies in Scotland every 9 days inexplicably. That's not good enough.

The Scottish Cot Death Trust raises funds to try to find a cause, educates the public on ways to reduce risk and supports bereaved families.

So, I'm running a marathon to raise funds for the Trust. This won't be easy because running's one of the most boring things I can think of. I prefer a good Glasgow curry and some chocolate cake washed down with a pint so this is a huge challenge.

Do help if you are able; even just a fiver will be very warmly received :-)

About the charity

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.
