Story

On September 21st I'm doing an 85metre (275ft) abseil down Grimsby Dock Tower (taller than Big Ben). Please recognise my bravery in going to Grimsby, as the name suggests, it might not be such a nice place. The abseil is a scary prospect too! This is over three times higher than I've ever climbed and I fear falling all the way down and ending what's supposed to be a light-hearted charity event in horror, screaming children and local paper headlines.

Why should I wander down this jeopardous path? Marie Curie helped a friend of mine that had cancer. They worked tirelessly to look after him in his hour of need, and raising a little money would enable them to go on helping others.

Please give whatever you can.
