We educate disadvantaged young people to transform lives and communities in Kenya

Story

As many of you know, I'm planning to ride from London to Paris 23rd May 2009. Most of our group of 25 riders have been training since November last year. I have been training for 3 weeks! Partly because our new baby boy was born 8th May and partly because I've been extending the house.

So.... WHY am I doing it?

The ride is to raise money for the Kisima Secondary School in Kenya, a charity school that provides free secondary education for 160 boys and girls from the most incredibly deprived backgrounds from villages all over the desert region of Northern Kenya. Education will help them to break free from poverty, to the benefit of their families and the communities they belong to.

I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me now, if not me, my wife Sarah who will be staying home looking after our baby and our 2 & 3 year old boys. Not sure who will have the harder task me or her. These Kenyan childrens lives will be transformed by your generosity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick and easy. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Educational Frontier Trust gets your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Thank you so much for your support!
