Story
My run in the 2013 Brighton Marathon will be in loving memory of Gillian Tanner and in support of Cancer Research UK. Gillian sadly lost her battle with cancer in January 2012 - she was an extremely close family friend and was a huge part of our lives. She always went out of her way to help us out, whether she was comfortable or not. It is because of this that I wanted to do something that I haven't done before and currently not trained for - I will train from now until the event and do what I can in order to help Cancer Research UK as much as I can to gather the funds to make further progress with their goals.
