Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On April 23rd 2023, I will be running my first London Marathon for Brain Research UK. This is because I don't have many brain cells so hopefully with the one I have left I'll be able to complete this massive challenge and raise as many funds as possible!

Everyone is affected by neurological conditions. Brain research UK studies conditions such as Alzheimers, dementia, epilepsy and even migraines and headaches. Without their vital work, we would not have made the progress we have in treatments.

Personally, I've had my fair share of football injuries such as concussion and bleeds on the brain scares. But without thinking about it we can all think of an experience we have personally been through whether that's minor or major- this is what makes this research so vital and important.

The brain is the most powerful organ in the body, a complex muscle that needs as much understanding and attention as possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.
