Story
I am doing a 24 hour golf challenge on 31st August to raise money for the Joanna Brown Trust. I will play from 5pm Friday through to 5pm the next day (the only brief breaks will be to change shoes and socks and a quick bite for energy). I would ask should you be able to spare any amount of money no matter how big or small that you kindly sponsor me to complete this challenge. I will be doing this at Henbury golf club who have been kind enough to provide me with a 4 ball for 24 hours, so if you would like to come down and join me for a round or just share a beer at the end please let me know.
With this being an olympic year I thought it appropriate to choose the Joanna Brown Trust for the great work they do. The Joanna Brown Trust was founded by Richard Brown who tragically lost his sister in a trekking accident whilst she was on her dream trip to experience the Beijing Olympics. Jo had a passion for all kinds of sports including rowing, running marathons, and even represented her country for Netball at University. 100% of the funds raised by the Trust goes towards the provision of opportunities for children to experience and excel in sport. This ranges from helping to open sporting and activity centres in Mumbai, to providing the opportunity for talented young British athletes to excel in their sporting arena and hopefully become future medal winners.
Thank-you on behalf of the Joanna Brown Trust for all of your support.
