Story

You may recall that my good friend, Adam Berry passed away last year and although it seems like this shocking event was only yesterday; his anniversary (18th October) will soon be with us. Along with Adams close friends, there really isn't a day that goes by that we don't fondly remember the positive impact he had on all our lives and the many times he entertained us or simply made us laugh, bringing tears to our eyes. Those tears haven't gone away, and in memory of the little guy, Kevin Dickson and myself intend to cycle the length of Jordan to raise some money for St. Lukes hospice, where Adam was cared for in his final days.

No doubt you will have your own reasons to donate, maybe you'd like to add a personal comment re Adam so Nicki and the girls know he's still fondly remembered or maybe you'd simply would like to insult / encourage us to drive us on. The reality is though, the vast majority of us are impacted by this terrible disease at some point so join the fight against it!!. Therefore, please consider a donation, no matter how small and please feel free to add a comment to show Nicki and the girls that we still think of them all.

Oh and the Jordan bit………………..Self funded, we're taking a week to mountain bike, north from the Jordanian capital, Amman, towards the Syria border before heading south, taking an off road route through the Jordanian desert, right down to the Red Sea coast. I'm not taking a direct route but it looks like its a few hundred miles. I hope it sounds challenging enough to grab your interest (especially for someone as unfit as myself), but lets face it, if we can muster up a small fraction of the strength, determination and courage Adam did on a daily basis, I'll be disappointed if we don't have this done and dusted in the first couple of hours ;0)
