I was 13 when my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and 14 when he finally died. Macmillan during this time and for a substantial period after helped my family with support through one of our darkest periods and i firmly believe in the job they do helps countless others facing the same issues. I am honoured that i have this opportunity to run for Team Macmillan in the London Marathon 2013 to raise money so that they can continue to help others affected by cancer.
