PC Nicola Hughes - Run To Remember, 1 December 2013
We help children who've lost someone close to access opportunities for the future

Story

In September 2012 PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone of GMP were tragically killed whilst responding to a burglary call.

I will be taking part in 'Run to Remember' to raise money for the PC Nicola Hughes memorial fund. We will run an average of 2 miles a day for 125 days (so 250 miles in total). I will be starting on 1st December 2013 and finishing on 4th April 2014 when Bryn Hughes, Nicola's father, will start his North Pole Marathon.  Bryn will raise money for Victim Support, Care Of Police Survivors (COPS) & the North West Police Benevolent Fund.

Bryn has selected those charities as he feels that they have all proved invaluable in helping his family to deal with the aftermath of Nicola’s death.

Thank you for visiting the page and for sponsoring me for this challenge.
