Howdy and thanks for visiting my page.

I have been fortunate enough to gain a place in the Great Manchester Run 2008. Initially i entered in a bid to, "make this year more successful than the last", but now i have a placed secured i thought it would be a great way to raise money for a good cause. The 10k event is on the 18th May 2008 and I am aiming to run it in under 45 minutes as to try and put my step-dads time to shame . . . obviously any faster is a bonus :o)

Cancer is one of the biggest causes of death in the UK and ONE IN EVERY THREE of us will be diagnosed with it at some point in our lifetime. As the column on the left says, Cancer Research UK is the worlds leading independant organisation dedicated to cancer research. Please help me reach or exceed my target so that we can raise some money for what im sure you'll agree with me is a very valuable cause.
