We are driving research into bone health to create a future without osteoporosis

Story

On the 29th of April Adam and Tim Webster will cycle from much Hoole,Lancashire to Hawick, Scotland and back again. Completed over 2 days the route will consist of 300 miles.

The ride is to celebrate the life of our beloved grandma Alice wood, who sadly died this year. Alice was born in Hawick and she lived in much Hoole for most of her life. Alice was a strong and wonderful woman with a get up and go attitude. If she could do anything to help people she would.

Therefor in honour of her spirt we will complete this challenge in aid of the national osteoporosis society. Which was an illness that Alice suffered from.

Osteoporosis is a condition that
causes bones to become fragile and break easily, often following a minor bump or fall. These broken bones are often referred to as fragility fractures. The terms ‘fractures’ and ‘broken bones’ mean the same thing. Although fractures can occur in different parts of the body, the wrists, hips and spine are most commonly affected.

We have no target amount. If people can give anything then that's a bonus for us. We will be paying for all our own food and accomodation. So all donations will go to the cause.
