Fundraising for Link Community Development
Story
Hey everyone.
Basically after a fairly quiet and Xbox-filled summer, I wanted to do something a bit more productive with my spare time so have decided to do something useful for a change.
My friend Ben and I are Hitch-hiking from Edinburgh to Morocco!
That's over 2000 miles across the UK and Europe with hopefully many adventures to be had on the way. It usually takes around 7 days to get there but knowing Ben and I, you never know!
The charity itself is Link Community Development which works towards developing qualtiy education in sub-Saharan countries. It trains tens of thousands of teachers each year really does make a difference. They focus on innovation and quality to ensure they get the most from every donation so it is a really worthwhile cause.

None of the money raised goes towards our hitch-hike so every penny goes to LCD which is fantastic. And also presents us with a challange hopefully.
We're currently working on fundraising ideas so if you have any suggestions then feel free to leave me a message, or email or pop on the Facebook group to join everyone trying to make us do things for their money. Usually in the nude...
