Fundraising for Save the Rhino International
Story
The global rhino population is declining. This is the sad reality that we live in...
A recent CITES report has confirmed that since 2017 the global rhino population has decreased by 3.7%. Total rhino population is estimated to be 26,272. Despite Black rhino and Greater one-horned rhino numbers increasing during that time, Southern white rhinos have been hit hard by intense poaching. On top of that, the added challenge of the climate crisis and severe drought is a real and increasing threat to rhinos and the ecosystems they rely on. Rhinos and other endangered species need the space and security to grow their numbers, and that is exactly what your sponsorship will help with.
To say that Save the Rhino is a charity that's close to my heart is an understatement. It has been my home for the past five years, and hopefully many more to come (if they'll have me). I love this charity, it's mission and the amazing supporters I talk to on a daily basis. I will wear the Save the Rhino running top with pride on 2 October and drag my bahoochie through 26.2 miles of mild agony for the rhinos!
