Thats a 45 min walk & an hours Bokwa session done. Got a stitch so couldnt bloody jog :( still was a fab workout though. Just waiting for bus to meet dad then go home and have a big bowl of melon :)

Just been for 20 min jog covered 3.4km. Only 3 weeks until the big day

Looking forward to another Bokwa class tonight at St Nicholas Church Hall Dunston 730-830PM. Going for a 20-30 min jog/walk before hand as my warm up :)

Off to the gym for PT session 30 mins then cardio for 30 mins. Todays going be a biggest loser style last chance workout, im guna push myself like i never have before :)

OMG had my diabetes appointment yesterday. The doctors are taking me off 1 of my tablets, halving my blood pressure tablets and taking me off the insulin. The next 3 weeks may be risky but if all goes to plan then my last injection of insulin will be in 3 weeks woohoooo

I joined slimming world in October 2010 and have lost 5 stone 9 pound so far. Its been hard but worth it. It has saved my life. My diabetes is now amazing, cholesterol, blood pressure are normal and my kidneys have gone from showing signs of damage to being completely normal and so now theres no risk of dialysis in the next 10 years. Exercise was a swear word but i have started exercising regularly for about 3 months now and i am loving it. I hated myself before slimming world. I would look in the mirror and think what have you done, why have you done it and what is the point. I was miserable and covered it up with fake smiles and laughs. Now my smiles and laughs are genuine. Im gaining confidence every day and i feel like a 25 year old instead of a morbidly obese waste of a life. I thought i would celebrate by attempting my first ever running challenge.
