Many people think arthritis is an inevitable consequence of ageing, but this could not be further from the truth. In the short time I've known about AR-UK, I've learnt that Arthritis comprises over 200 different conditions, which together affect 10 million people in the UK. There is no cure and these conditions force children as young as two to live with extreme pain and severe disability. This not only reduces their quality of life but also significantly reduces their life expectancy.

Arthritis Research UK is determined and committed to helping change the lives of people with arthritis both in the UK and worldwide, and I'm raising money to help them stop the pain for people living with this terrible condition.
