A massive thank you to everybody that has sponsored me so far! I completed my run yesterday in 56 mins 35 seconds. Photos will be uploaded soon! It's not too late to spread the word to anybody else that would like to sponsor me over the next few weeks. Thanks Adam.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On May 15th 2011 I will be running (or possibly walking!) The Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run in aid of The Alzheimer's Society. It's a charity very close to my family's heart as my Grandad Sam in the picture on the left was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in early 2010 shortly after losing our Nan in the January.
Alzheimer's disease is a terrible disease and the most common cause of dementia, affecting around 465,000 people and their families in the UK.
In running The Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run in aid of The Alzheimer's Society I hope to raise the profile of this terrible disease that has so deeply affected our family and many others, and hope to raise money so that The Alzheimer's Society can continue to offer support to the people and families affected by this disease.
So please dig deep and donate now.
