Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well, I've decided to run the Bath Half marathon this year on Sunday 6th March and with your help I would like to raise as much money as I can for a worthy cause.

Dementia is one of the main causes of disability in later life, alongside cancer, cardiovascular disease and stroke. 1in 3 people over 65 will die with dementia and over 700,000 people have dementia in the UK.

Dementia is not a natural part of ageing - it is caused by diseases of the brain that rob people of their lives. Sadly, since my Nan was diagnosed with Alzheimers, the last 5 years or so have had such an impact that I would like to do a little something to help current and prevent future sufferers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate what you can.

Thankyou..
