Nicole's dad/my father-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just over 5 years ago and has shown tremendous strength and determination in his battle since.

Last year, we were delighted to learn that the cancer had stabilised and he was able to walk Nicole down the aisle at our wedding in August. We have unfortunately since learned that the cancer has returned but are all hopeful that he will be there to stand by Nicole's brother, Sean, in celebrating his wedding this September.

Knowing how hard he has been fighting and how many times he has seemingly proved the doctors' predictions wrong, we remain confident he will be there. 

We have enormous respect for how hard he has been battling and we are doing this walk to show him how proud we are.
