Story
I, Adam khan, am attempting to raise at least £100 to climb Mount Snowdon for Human appeal as part of the University of Birmingham Islamic Society Charity Week.
Climbing Mount Snowdon is going to be an exciting challenge and insha Allah with your help, I can make use of this sponsored climb to provide Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities in the low land region in Bangladesh.
The sponsored climb will be happening on Sunday 13th November. We will be leaving from the University of Birmingham by coach at around 4:30 AM and hope to be back by around 9PM.
*ALL* of the proceeds raised during this sponsored climb will be going towards the project which will contribute towards installing household latrines, tube-wells and educating the community as a whole.
Human appeal will be raising money to fund this project that will Insha’Allah provide water necessities to those living in the Hoar region. It is especially important for this region and its inhabitants due to its flood proneness, low literacy rate and poor infrastructure. The cost of the whole project is £25,000.
Please take the time to donate. A very small £5 donation could go a long way for those who are struggling, especially the children and women who travel long distances to get water that may not even be drinkable.
Thank you
