Story
After completing the Liverpool Rock & Roll Half Marathon in 2017, I went to visit my Uncle Bill in hospital to give him the medal I received for finishing (picture above) as he was under going treatment for cancer at the time.
Little did we know then, that 2 weeks later he would be taken from us after losing his short, but brave battle with the illness, leaving my family heart broken. Cancer took Bill far to early, depriving him of some of the best years and moments that should of lay ahead.
This year I am attempting my first (and last) full marathon, and feel it is fitting to be running in memory of my uncle who will always remain in our hearts and never forgotten. All proceeds going to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. Please spare what you can, no amount is too small.
