Story
Paul Wilson was a very good friend of mine who I had known for many years through playing football and then more recently through our children going to the same school. Sadly for Paul and his family, he lost his battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma just over a year ago and in his memory I'm going to jump out of an aeroplane (with a parachute, which will hopefully open!).
This is to raise money for a fantastic charity called Daisy's dream who supported Paul, his amazing wife Sarah and their 4 gorgeous little girls Poppy, Annabelle, Holly and Georgie. Daisy's dream helped them through this devastating and traumatic experience and I want to do my little bit to try and raise some money for the charity (it's a lot easier than running a marathon after all!).
Please give generously and show some love for a great charity that supported my friend & his family and continue to support many other families during one of the most difficult times any of us could possibly imagine.
On 24th March 2019, I am joining the Daisy's Dream Super Skydive team to take part in the ultimate experience; a 15,000ft skydive with a pulse racing freefall of up to 60 seconds. All to raise money for Daisy's Dream. Each year Daisy's Dream support around 700 children and young people through their bereavement. Whether they are facing the death of someone they love or have already experienced their loss, their professionally qualified Family Workers are on hand to offer families the support and guidance they need. All of their work is provided to families completely free of charge, but in order to do so, Daisy's Dream need to raise over £400,000 a year to cover their costs. This is where we come in!By taking part, I am hoping to raise as much money as I can to help children and young people access the support they need at a really difficult time. Please give as generously as you can.
