Ok, so last year I decided to do a marathon, amongst other stupid ideas!  I've been half heartedly training since November last year with the plan to undertake this challenge in the late part of this year.... Then a place came up through http://www.getkidsgoing.com/ , a fantastic charity that helps disabled children get into sports by suppling specialist equipment, and November 2011 became April!

Anyhows, since November, I've gone from barely being able to run for 60 secs, to completing my first 17 mile run in 2 hours 53 minutes, so looking good for completion.
