Story

My team the Evergreens are honoured to be invited to play in the RFU IPF Veterans Rugby Day on the 9th June.

This event is particularly close to all of our hearts at Ealing as one of our young players, Ben Pearson, suffered a very serious injury whilst playing for the club in April of this year.

The day is a celebration of Vets rugby where 130 veteran players from 4 clubs who have suffered catastrophic player injuries, will be putting their bodies on the line on the holy turf to raise funds for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.

We together with Hammersmith & Fulham RFC, Wimbledon RFC and Silhilians RUFC, have set ourselves a massive target of £40,000, so please can you help me support the RFUIPF by sponsoring me in this match.

This event gives us a splendid opportunity to help support a charity dedicated to supporting and protecting the rugby family.

If you would like to see more of what the RFUIPF does to help the injured players and their families adapt and recover from critical injuries and importantly to me, the preventive research they do, to stop tragic injuries happening like this again, please log on to http://www.rfuipf.org.ukDonating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
