Story

I am now running the Marathon in memory of Steve Munday. Who has sadly passed and lost his battle with cancer.
My friend and work colleague, Steve, had the devastating news he had terminal cancer in December and was given 6 months to live. Sadly he lost his battle after only 5 weeks leaving behind a wife and 3 children, the RBL will be doing everything they can to help him and his family.
Steve worked tirelessly and selflessly for the RBL every year, he wanted me to run for the RBL as he was so heavily involved with them. So it is now only fitting I run in memory of him, with his name on my vest, to raise as much as I can for the RBL and honour his wish. The RBL will be going above and beyond to provide help and support to his loved ones. Please help if you can.
The RBL have asked me to run for them as I have a close connection with them, I raised over £2700 last year for them by doing the Manchester Marathon, I want to smash that this year, help me get there please 🙏🏻.
The RBL do so much good work for serving and ex service personnel. They provide recovery and rehabilitation support to currently serving and ex-service personnel who are wounded, injured, sick. The same support is also available for those who are experiencing multiple challenges such as being out of work, dealing with mental health problems, financial issues and alcohol abuse.
The work they do is not often fully understood by people so I am also raising awareness of this. Never has there been a more appropriate time for me to raise money for this amazing charity.
