Story
In July & December 2018 I had emergency surgery on my right eye which meant I had to stop cycling. Having had first hand experience of sight loss for a temporary time I want to give something back.
So after watching RideLondon from the pavement in 2018, although I did fix a few punctures for riders and provide others with extra tubes and support I decided I would ride for RSBC in 2019.
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page and for helping me to raise money for the Royal Society for Blind Children.
I believe no child in the UK should grow up to be poor or lonely just because they are blind. However 90% of those who lose their sight in youth won’t work for more than six months in their lives and most will never have someone to share their life with.By donating today you can help make sure every single blind child has the self-belief and skills to fulfil the potential we know they’ve got.
