We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my Dementia UK Just Giving page.

For several years a close family member has suffered with dementia and slowly but surely that person my family knew, is no more. I have also personally seen first hand what the crippling disease can do to those loved ones who choose to look after those who suffer with dementia.

My mum and dad have been utterly brilliant in supporting my family and helping out as much as they can but I am aware that there could be other families out there who don't have the same support.

For this reason, I have created this page to raise a little awareness of the impact of dementia on a family and hopefully in the process raise some funds for Dementia UK (http://www.dementiauk.org). This is a national charity which trains expert Admiral nurses who give practical and emotional support to families affected by dementia.

If you can please donate and support families who are affected by dementia.

Thank you for reading this and if can, donate.
