We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

My UK Great Grandmother suffered from lots of mini strokes over a long period of time.  I used to visit her lots and we never knew how she would be.  Sometimes she would remember me other times she would think I was other people in the family.  I still loved to visit her and miss her lots.

Last weekend a close friend Peter Lozach died from a stroke and it brought everything back.  I used to do lots of first aid training with him and go out on duties with him.  He was always very kind to me and happy to answer my questions and show me how equipment worked.

I have lots of very thick curly hair and thought by shaving it off would be a great way to raise money for the Stroke Association to help others.
