We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thursday 8 November is the first Insurance Day of Giving, organised by Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society, to get as many people as possible to help us take on the 21st Century’s biggest killer.

Given this is such a life changing disease, I have challenged myself along with some other senior Willis Towers Watson colleagues, to do something very different and “go back to the floor” to get a
feel for how we run our business for our clients and colleagues.

We will each do a stint in a role that is not our own – welcoming
clients on the front reception desk or to the client suite, answering  questions at the Tech bar, serving coffee at the coffee bar or supporting our team in the gym.

This is where you come in – donate money to see me take part in "back to the floor".

An element of fun with a serious message:

Dementia is not a natural part of ageing

Dementia is caused by diseases of the brain

It is not just about losing your memory

People can still live well with Dementia

There is more to a person than Dementia

Thanks for reading, donating and supporting the Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
