Story
On June the 17th June I will be doing the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. If you don’t know this charity, it helps raise awareness of heart disease with the aim of reducing the number of people that suffer from heart attacks. http://www.bhf.org.uk/
The distance from London to Brighton is 54 miles through some of the finest English landscape, places like Mitcham and Croydon will be visited. Combined with the traditional warm dry English Summer we’re experiencing I can understand some people thinking that this is just a jolly.......I can assure you many hardships will occur en route, most notably the side effects of sitting on a saddle for 6hrs and the 1 mile climb of Ditchling Beacon with a 8-16% gradient.
I would really appreciate any donations for this worthy cause, money is preferable though.
