Story
OK, this is what happens when madness and compassion go hand in hand.
James (http://www.justgiving.com/JamesBayliffe) and I will be riding the London Tube Network over 5 days. He's doing it for Kid's Adventure and I'm doing it for Terrence Higgins Trust. It'll be slightly over 300 miles once you include diversions because people inconsiderately put buildings over where the rail line goes. The ride will be as follows:-
Monday 30th May: Central and Victoria Lines
Tuesday 31st May: Picadilly and Bakerloo Lines
Wednesday 1 June: Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City Lines
Thursday 2 June: District and Circle Lines
Friday 3 June: Northern and Jubilee Lines
Friday 3 June, 7pm: Waterloo and City Line (race)
Our victory lap will be the race at the end. Loser pays £30 for the winner's charity. We'll start at Waterloo and if anyone wants to be at the finishing line it'd be great to have a crowd.
I, myself, am doing this for the Terrence Higgins Trust. It's the largest HIV/sexual health charity in the UK. They work in prevention of sexually transmitted disease, campaigning for, working with and educating about those living with HIV. Those of you who know me will know I feel very strongly about this and considering the recent central government funding cuts for charities such as these, they need our help more than ever. I want to help out in any small way I can. So please, give generously and do come along to Bank Station at 7 on the 3rd.
