Story

Thanks for visiting my just giving page.

Those that know me well, will know I am just a chubby lad with a dodgy knee. Unfortunately, on top of this, over the last few years I have suffered with anxiety and stress issues. This overtook my mental state so much that I had put on hold how I wanted to progress in my career, and even now, I still cannot face the prospect of certain things.
One of the ways I found to help was to exercise, more specifically, run - this was a new ground for me as it isn't something I have done for a long time.

Part of the reason my mental health broke down was due to the loss of family and extended family members. Some of these had the help from the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice through their time of need - I thought it would be quite fitting that while I run to try to help myself, I see if I can fund raise for a charity that helps others.

My confidence has been seriously knocked due to my mental health problems and in order to gain my own self esteem back, I signed up for the following between September 2018 and April 2019;

8th September - Thames Bridges Trek 25km - DONE
3rd February - London Winter run 10k - DONE
24th February - Brighton Half marathon - DONE
10th March - London Big half marathon - DONE
14th April - Brighton Marathon

If you would be able to donate anything to help this great charity, that'd be amazing and will make each mile I have run, that much more worth it.
