The story behind my fundraising for Tommy's is two fold. Tommy's perform amazing work in supporting parents and families that are unfortunate enough to lose a baby or suffer a miscarriage.  Further than this they perform research to further our understanding of premature and still births and miscarriage's.


I'm lucky enough that my story has a happy ending and I have the most beautiful daughter who is 6 years old but before she came along my wife and I suffered a series of miscarriages and the heartache and strain of these times can't be put into words. What we would have done to have a charity like Tommy's to support us!


The second part of my story took place before I was even born. Ryan Doe born roughly a year before me. He was tragically born with a heart defect that meant he only survived a week. I can only imagine the turmoil my mother and father went through at this time and I'm sure they would have done anything for the support of a charity like Tommy's.


So there it is I will be running in remembrance of Ryan and my little babies that I never got to meet and in celebration of my beautiful Klara Doe and finally for all the parents who have to suffer these occurrences, not least my amazingly strong and lovely wife xx
