Bupa Great North Run 2011 · 18 September 2011 ·

Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer. Together, we can change this. Yorkshire Cancer Research is a charity dedicated to finding new cancer cures and treatments and bringing them to people in Yorkshire. Our aim is for more people to survive cancer, in Yorkshire and beyond.

Story

Thanks for reading this! I have decided to have a go at a half marathon this year to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The Bupa Great North run is over a 13 mile course from Newcastle to South Shields, and should be quite tough now that I'm knocking on a bit. I have been set a target of £250 which is a big ask but hopefully I can get somewhere near it as it's such a good cause.

Yorkshire cancer research are the most cost-efficient cancer charity in the UK so you can be assured that your donation will not be wasted on biros and junk mail! For more detailed information on how your donation will be spent you can take a look here.

Thanks again, Adam
