I am sure a lot of people feel the same, but I have witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of homeless sleeping rough on the streets. Have a walk around the streets near any tube station, and you begin to lose count of the sleeping bags and tents dotted around, and they're the lucky ones - some make do with a make-shift cardboard shelter.

It's all too easy to ignore and carry on with our privileged lives, whilst such suffering goes on. This year, I cannot continue to ignore, and have chosen to help out where I can.

Starting with the amazing work that Crisis does, Florence and I will be volunteering on Christmas and Boxing Day, helping out in whatever way we can, but ultimately, listening to their stories and making them feel like a real human being again. Apologies to my family, but it's hard to ignore the reality of the current homeless situation in London.

Appreciate this is for a couple of days only, and therefore hoping to raise further fund to support the year round work that Crisis does. I know it's a costly time of year for most of us, but hope you can find a few pounds left over support those truly in need.
