Story
Hello and thanks for taking the time to look at my page. Even if it was to double check that it wasn’t a wind up….
This is no joke and yes I am running the 2017 London Marathon !!!
After the sudden tragic death of my younger brother Andrew when he was just three years old from Meningitis, I have decided to support The Meningitis Research Foundation. A charity that feels very close to me and my family. you can see the great work they do on their website http://www.meningitis.org/
So I’ve switched from marathon sessions down the pub to pounding the streets of London in my lycra running gear to run an actual marathon!!
This will not be easy and has already proved hard fitting in the training time and staying away from the pub when I can. But I am on track and will be ready to go come next April and will also hopefully finish before they start packing up….
I feel extremely proud to be running for the Meningitis Research Fund and privileged to have been chosen. I will keep you updated on how my training is coming along.
You’ll see my target to the right and with your donation you can help me smash this goal !
Many thanks
