After completing a virtual half marathon and the Great North Run in 2021 I decided to try and motivate myself to keep fit by signing up for another half this year! So I am entering the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd April and training is well underway...

Due to injury I was unable to train much for the Great North Run, meaning I struggled to beat the time I completed in the 'virtual half'. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of GNR though and am looking forward to hopefully smashing a new PB with a race day atmosphere in April whilst also raising money for such a fantastic cause!!

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
