For those that weren't aware, our son Charlie was born with Microtia on his left ear. It is not something that can be 'cured' and he has a hearing aid (or BAHA) to help him. When we first met Charlie and learnt something was different, it was a scary and confusing time. The health professionals were excellent and directed us to Microtia UK. 

Microtia UK provide an amazing support community and one of the most positive uses of Facebook I have seen. The wealth of information, reassurance and support provided by those that run the charity and the community they have established has helped Sally, me and so many others. 

So I chose to try and repay the favour with this run, I hope you will support me and Microtia UK.
