Thanks for your support with my London Marathon JustGiving challenge!

I am running for Lupus UK in memory of Debbie Minter one of the Outpatients Department of Spire Norwich Hospital who will be remembered with great fondness a dearly loved and much respected friend and colleague, who we sadly lost to Lupus on 14/3/2018.  Debbie suffered for a number of years with this debilitating disease and we rarely heard even a word of complaint from her.  She was brave to the end and leaves an unfillable hole in the lives of those she touched.  

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (Lupus) is a presently incurable illness of the immune system; a condition in which the body’s defence mechanism starts to attack itself through antibodies in the bloodstream causing inflammation and damage to the joints, muscles and many other organs.
