In loving memory of Adam Brodie

This page was set up to remember Adam after his 8 month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. As a family, we would like to give something back and we're hoping to raise money for Leukaemia UK. Please give any amount you can so more research could be done to find treatments for this horrible disease. The survival rates are low as it is and we would love to donate so people going through this could one day carry on with their lives. Unfortunately, Adam passed away in November at the age of 25 and only had a total of one month out of eight at home as he was neutropenic and constantly getting infections due to this. He pulled out of ITU twice while residing at Darent Valley and King's. We thank all of the doctors, nurses and medical staff who were involved and made his time bearable. We never knew what to look out for and how it affected someone, but seeing what he went through has inspired us to keep going. He always had a positive outlook and had the most amazing sense of humour. It's been a crazy, hopeful, heartbreaking few months, but he is finally at peace. Gone way too soon and the world has lost a truly wonderful and kind young man who made a difference in so many of our lives. We love and miss him terribly. 💙
