Story
It’s the final countdown to the big day huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far I am so grateful for all your kind support it really makes a difference!
Thanks for taking the time to read this story - The London Marathon has always been on the bucket list but when i got offered a last minute place with only 92 days to go it was panic stations - can i get round, can i raise enough money but then i thought about the reasons i applied in the first place and thought i had to give it a go. I have never run more than 10K until this week so its not going to be easy!
I am absolutely privileged that Prostate Canacer Research have offered me a place in their marathon team. This great charity is working so hard to find cures for this awful disease, and after losing my amazing Grandad who had long battle with cancer i want to cross the finsihing line with your fantastic support knowing i have made a small difference.
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men. Over 11,000 men die every year in the UK and the number increases every year. The Mission of PCRC is to develop new therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer. The immediate goal is to increase survival and their vision is a cure for the disease. Every pound raised will help PCRC achieve their vision.
