Adam's Borneo Tri X Challenge (like a triathlon but more extreme...)

raised of £2,750 target

Event: Deloitte Charity Challenge, from 17 June 2015 to 4 July 2015
Participants: Deloitte Charity Challenge 2015

Story

Apparently Borneo is a lovely place for a holiday. If only that was the reason for visiting in June... Whilst I do hope to enjoy the "Tri X" experience it will be incredibly tough - particularly given the high altitude and hot/humid temperatures.

The trip itself is entirely funded by me. So all donations go to our 3 Deloitte charities: Alzheimer's Society, Mind and Prostate Cancer UK.

Challenge Summary

Location: The jungles of Borneo

Disciplines: Mountain climbing, Mountain biking, Water-water rafting

Details and Statistics

Mountain climbing: Climb to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4102m)

Mountain biking: Ride 70km cross-country and through jungle

White-water rafting: Survive 6hrs of rafting the raging Padas River

Please give generously to these very worthy causes and I will do my best to survive..!
