Coming from a military family (Navy) and hearing the many interesting yet harrowing stories my Grandfather used to tell me, has left a lasting memory of the sheer bravery the men and women battled through to give us the independence and freedom we enjoy today.

Riding in the BBBR2020 allows me to cycle in the footsteps of heroes, continuing to support and raise the profile of such an amazing charity as Help for Heroes.

I would like to  push myself to achieve this goal of riding 500km in 5 days, and in a place that has changed the course of history.

What better place to do it than in Dunkirk surrounded by true heroes.
