Dedicate a light to remember someone special who is in your thoughts......
As part of the Ealing Nurse Appeal, Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding a Lights to Remember service in . I would be delighted if you were able to join us for this new event, and sponsor a light on our Christmas tree in memory or in celebration of a loved one.
Just £20 will pay for one hour of unique nursing care from a Marie Curie Nurse, and your kindness this Christmas could help us give a family the care they need to keep them together during the festive season.
“When you are working at Christmas, you’re allowing people to spend that special time together. Their families make you feel very welcome and they are really grateful. I spent last Christmas with a young family and watched the children open their presents – that was very poignant.” - a Marie Curie Nurse
We will be holding a short non-religious service on Saturday 19th December at 4.30pm in the marketplace in . The service is a chance for you to reflect and remember loved ones and will feature a choir, and a reading from Marie Curie Nurse, Olive Hoare, who is the face of the Ealing Nurse Appeal.
I do hope you can attend as not only is our Lights to Remember event a wonderful opportunity to get together with family and friends, it is a chance to support Marie Curie Nurses in the local area.
If you would like to sponsor a light on our Christmas tree please donate on this page, writing the name of your loved one and dedication in the message box.
All the dedications will then be put in a special Book of Remembrance which will then be displayed in the local library for the next 6 months.
