Story
On 23rd and 25th June 2023, Phoebe, Ellie, Josh and Helen will be wheeling across the county to raise vital funds for the amazing Sanctuary Wheels refugee bike project. This project has already provided more than 600 refugees and asylum seekers with a bike, which is "a symbol of freedom" - helping people who have escaped conflict to get to know their new homes, access vital services and feel truly independent.
Please give what you can to support this incredible community project - thank you!
Sanctuary Wheels will provide free, refurbished bikes and tuition for hundreds of refugees across Oxfordshire. This includes, of course, the many refugees who are fleeing war in Ukraine and arriving now into our county. We will provide free, refurbished bikes, lights, locks and helmets so that refugees can benefit from being able to get around independently and get to know their new communities.
