In December 2018, our dear friend and colleague Kent Rhodes lost his brave fight against cancer. Kent was known and respected for his abundant and brave nature so we created the Kent Rhodes Challenge to keep his spirit alive and raise funds for the causes that Kent was passionate about. 

Five years on, and the Kent Rhodes Challenge has become an annual event and we are again completing a hike of the spectacular Yorkshire Three Peaks. This is a fun yet challenging 20 mile course, exploring three of the highest summits of the Yorkshire Dales. Completed in around 12 hours, this stunning route encompasses 1500m of ascent and descent, led by qualified mountain leaders, which we walk and finish together as a team.

Every year, the ActionCOACH community, their clients, families, and friends embark on the Kent Rhodes Challenge in memory of Kent. In doing so we keep Kent’s memory alive, whilst raising funds for those less fortunate than ourselves. To date we have raised over £70,000 for children’s
charities,  Children with Cancer UK and the UK ActionCOACH Foundation (a new charity; awaiting charitable status from the Charity Commission); causes that Kent passionately believed in.

We are raising funds once again for Children with Cancer UK, the national leading charity dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, and the UK ActionCOACH Foundation (a start up charity currently awaiting Charity Commission registration), that delivers free business and entrepreneurship education to kids and young people in the UK.
