Story
It’s the season to give back again! This year, we came up with idea to run an amazing and fun competition for you, so that you could help us raise money and awareness for the SNAP Charity. Last year […]Last year we all hiked 50km across the Peak District to raise money for SNAP. They do such amazing work for children with special needs and their families and it would be fantastic if you could help even more for them this Christmas.
We all LOVE movies here at Northreach, so this year, to break up the lockdown boredom, we thought we'd ask you all to get creative and re-create a scene from your favourite movie, sharing this online with our SNAP charity hashtag to help raise awareness of this exceptional organisation.
The Prize
We have an amazing Selfridges Christmas Hamper to give away worth £300. This is loaded full of goodies and will be delivered to you just in time for Christmas.
How to Enter

More about SNAP
SNAP helps every family at absolutely no cost and no diagnosis. But because of that, they also need OUR HELP – YOUR HELP to support and help them running the SNAP Centre. We were totally overwhelmed by the amount of families SNAP has helped over the years and the continual improvements they have made to the facility and their equipment that includes a sensory room, a library full of books for children and parents that are safe and not scary to read unlike some things you can find on google! An IT room with iPads & computers which the kids absolutely love AND break out areas for families to see counsellors 1 to 1. You can clearly see the positive impact this centre is having with the children and their families.
From humble beginnings, 8 parents with children with mental health formed their own support network group, to securing a rundown building in Brentwood which needed £500,000 refurbishment, winning the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Award, building a £30,000 sensory room to winning Best-Not-For-Profit Organisation of the Year 2018! In 2020 SNAP have been supporting over 2500 active families that use the facilities and support lines to help them with their children and have made a huge difference to these families lives through lockdown. What an amazing story and an amazing charity to support.
