The staff at Action for M.E. are joining our brilliant fundraisers and taking part in Walk with M.E. 2020, walking one million steps in 100 days to raise awareness and funds for people with M.E.

Myalgic encephalomyelitis (M.E.) is a serious chronic condition that affects an estimated 250,000 people in the UK. One in four people with M.E. are so severely ill that they are house- and/or bed-bound.

The staff at Action for M.E. see and hear about the devastating effects M.E. can have every day; we want to improve the lives of people with M.E. and create a better future for those living with the condition.

The money raised will go towards providing targeted support, resources and guidance to children, adults and families affected by M.E., investing in biomedical research to better understand this complex condition, and towards working with professionals and policy-makers to improve access to appropriate care and support services.
